THE SCIENCE BEHIND A BELOVED COCKTAIL
In addition to recipes, the book explores the history of the Moscow Mule and dives into the ingredients that make a Moscow Mule so iconic.
We also worked with a scientist to investigate the properties of copper and how the affect the drinking experience. The book explores questions including:
- Does the copper mug decrease the temperature of the cocktail and keep it colder longer?
- Does copper influence the taste of the cocktail?
- How does the copper vessel affect the drinking experience?
The fascinating two-part report dives into these and other questions.
MOSCOW MULE INSPIRATION FROM THOSE WHO KNOW IT BEST
The Moscow Mule Copper Co. was founded by the great-grandson of Sophie Brezinski, who helped invent the Moscow Mule cocktail and brought the iconic copper mug to America. We’ve kept her legacy shining not only with the excellent, old-world craftsmanship of our mugs, but also by continuing to celebrate the Moscow Mule in all its forms.
Mulehead is part of that labor of love, helping preserve the art of the Moscow Mule for generations of bartenders to come. It’s a beautiful book that deserves a place of pride on every cocktail enthusiast’s bookshelf, bar cart, or coffee table.Catch recipes like this and more in the book and on our YouTube Channel!
